Children Counselling (ages 5+) - Counselling children is different from counselling adolescents or adults. During the counselling session your child may play a game, paint/draw, play with toys, work with symbols and sand. These strategies are used to help your child feel comfortable and provide them with a alternative or additional means of communication. It allows your child to tell their story, sort out their problem and gain a sense of control over their issue. Some reasons why a child might attend counselling are:

Adolescent Counselling - Adolescents is a difficult time for teens with ongoing changes physically, emotionally and a need to belong in the world. Counselling can assist adolescents to work through challenges that are impacting their life and gain some control. Some of these challenges may include:

Individual Counselling - Both men and women seek counselling for many different reasons. Counselling can assist you with working through either past or present concerns/issues. These concerns or issues may include:

Couple/Relationship Counselling - All relationships go through their ups and downs. Relationships need to be nurtured and sometimes with our busy lifestyles the balance between individual needs and the relationship needs gets lost. Couple counselling provides a non biased/non judgmental approach to problem solving and working towards bringing back the joy into your relationship.

Parenting Skills - Parenting can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. Parents often seek assistance to find new skills or strategies to help them deal with difficulties as they arise. The difficulties may include different parenting styles or management of undesirable behaviours displayed by their child or adolescent.   

Family Mediation - Mediation can assist familiies to bring back the harmony in the home. The mediation process requires all members of the family working together and assists them to find their own resolution. 

Conflict Resolution - Conflict resolution is avalable to individuals that find themselves in a situation where they have a grievence with another individual. Conflict resolution works towards a win/win situation. 

Counselling Fees/Charges 

Individual - $95.00 (50 minute session)

Couples - $110.00 (1 hour session)

Family - $110.00 (1 hour session)
